What is the Hims Multi-Cancer Test by Galleri®? The Hims Multi-Cancer Test by Galleri® is a simple annual screen that analyzes DNA fragments in your blood to detect a signal linked to 50+ cancer types not commonly tested for, including lung, pancreatic, and liver.1 The signal indicates potential cancer cells present in your body at the time of testing, allowing you to proactively check for a signal of 50+ cancers, potentially before symptoms appear.

If a Cancer Signal is found, the test will predict the likely area of origin in your body.

Why should I consider this test? Men face cancers that can develop silently and be missed in early stages, like lung, pancreatic, and liver.2 About 1 in 2 men will develop invasive cancer in their lifetime,3 while recommended screenings cannot detect more than 81% of men’s cancers.4

Early detection can make a meaningful difference. When colon and rectum cancer is found earlier vs. after it has spread to other organs, the five-year survival rate can improve from 15.2% to 90.7%.5

What can I expect when I receive my results? You’ll be notified once your results are available. Your results will either indicate Cancer Signal Detected or No Cancer Signal Detected. If a Cancer Signal is detected, it’s not a cancer diagnosis. A provider will contact you as soon as possible, typically within 15 hours, to discuss your results. Your results will include a prediction of the tissue type or organ associated with the Cancer Signal, called a Cancer Signal Origin.

What should I do if I receive a Cancer Signal Detected result? A Cancer Signal Detected result doesn’t mean you have cancer, but it does indicate the need for further evaluation.

What does it mean if I receive a No Cancer Signal Detected result? This result doesn’t completely rule out the possibility of cancer. While the Galleri® test is a powerful tool, it cannot detect a signal for all cancers, and not all cancers can be detected in the blood.

How often should I take this test? It’s recommended to perform the Hims Multi-Cancer Test by Galleri® annually. Cancer can develop at any time.
